According to the Municipal Parking Lot Construction and Management Office, this year the city plans to build at least five public parking lots, adding 2,000 off-street parking spaces. At the same time, the city aims to complete the development of a parking management platform by year’s end, enabling residents to access parking‑related information and use online navigation services through a dedicated mobile app. To accelerate the growth of the parking industry, the official emphasized that parking management is a systemic social issue requiring coordinated efforts across departments and the active participation of the entire community. Speaking to reporters, Jiang Guoqi, head of the Municipal Parking Office, stated that, to effectively manage citywide parking, the office is taking a three‑pronged approach—planning, construction, and operations—to standardize parking order.

Hubei Province’s first eco‑smart parking garage will open on National Day.
Yichang East Station is an important tourist transit hub in Hubei Province, and parking difficulties have long been a major source of frustration there. This National Day holiday, that challenge may finally be resolved: a garden‑style smart parking garage is set to open, offering more than 1,000 parking spaces. Recently, a reporter from Chutian Metropolis visited the construction site of the parking garage at Yichang East Station. The project is located about 100 meters west of the station, adjacent to the existing parking lot and just some 200 meters from the Yichang Passenger Transport Center. On site, the reporter observed that the development covers nearly 50,000 square meters, with three above‑ground levels and two underground levels, presenting an imposing and grand scale. The walls are adorned with…

A new multi-level parking facility has been added in Houhu, Yuelu District, Changsha, offering a total of 457 parking spaces.
In recent years, as the economy and society have rapidly developed, the challenge of finding parking has become increasingly acute. In response, Yuelu District has vigorously promoted the construction of the “One Circle, Two Squares, Three Roads” initiative, striving to alleviate parking difficulties—and the multi‑storey parking garage in Houhu New Village is one of its key projects. “From now on, we’ll never have to worry about finding a spot again—so convenient!” On July 11, residents of Houhu New Village in Juzizhou Subdistrict, Yuelu District, said with great anticipation as they looked at the parking facility nearing completion. The multi‑storey parking garage in Houhu New Village is located at the intersection of Houhu Road and Qingshui Road, covering an area of 9,510 square meters. Zhejiang Province’s first scenic‑area ETC parking lot has begun trial operations.
Not long ago, the “Encountering the Kingdom of Wu and Yue” Lin’an Digital Cultural‑Tourism Special Line was officially launched. Of course, Lin’an has more surprises in store for visitors. Following closely on its heels, the district introduced an ETC‑enabled parking system at scenic spots—an innovative initiative that combines digital technology to deliver convenient services, jointly developed by Lin’an’s cultural‑tourism authorities and Hangzhou‑Huiyang Expressway, a subsidiary of the provincial transportation group. A provincial first: spearheaded by the Culture and Tourism Bureau and jointly rolled out by three departments, the ETC‑based scenic‑spot parking system offers seamless, contactless payment, made possible through close collaboration among the Lin’an District Culture and Tourism Bureau, Hangzhou‑Huiyang Expressway Co., Ltd., and robust support from the provincial ETC management authority.
