On the 25th, at the construction site of the multi‑level automated parking garage at Anshan Financial Plaza, workers were braving the bitter cold. The current phase involves installing electric motors, all performed at height. Workers ascend to their workstations in suspended cradles and spend one to two hours per shift seated on icy metal scaffolding. The automated parking structure is part of Anshan’s key municipal project, Anshan Financial Plaza. Standing 70 meters tall with 32 levels and 192 parking spaces, it will not only help alleviate the chronic parking shortage near the station but also enhance the city’s urban image.

Multi‑storey parking facilities are on the way! Over the next six years, Zhuhai will add 8,385 public parking spaces.

Starting December 1, Beijing will fully implement electronic payment for on-street parking; the Municipal Transportation Commission stated that there will be no price increase.
