Recently, the public multi‑level parking garage project located on the north side of the intersection of Zhongxing North Road and Chang’an West Street, implemented by the Urban Investment Group, has successfully passed its completion acceptance.

The building has a height of 11.85 meters, with one above-ground floor (partially two floors) and a gross floor area of 2,580 square meters; the basement has a floor area of 221.5 square meters. The garage can accommodate 93 vehicles, the design service life is 25 years, and the total investment amounts to approximately RMB 13.28 million.

Construction commenced in August 2018, with the steel structure topping out on January 20, 2019. The preliminary completion inspection was successfully completed on May 30, 2019—more than three months ahead of the annual schedule. The plan is scheduled to be officially put into operation in July.

The completion of the multi‑storey parking garage on Zhongxing North Road makes efficient use of urban space and will effectively alleviate parking difficulties for nearby residents. Moving forward, in line with the city’s overall parking‑facility planning, once conditions are ripe, multi‑storey parking structures will be rolled out across the city, helping to enhance urban traffic flow and improve the living environment, thereby supporting Shaoxing’s high‑quality urban development.
