Procurement Department


 

 

I. Purpose

Responsible for the procurement of various materials, including raw and auxiliary materials and components, to ensure the smooth operation of production and business activities.

 

II. Functions

1.  Scheduling of procurement plans, product ordering, and control of delivery timelines;

2 . Sourcing product suppliers, gathering relevant information, and conducting development activities;  

3 Conducting price comparisons and negotiation with suppliers, as well as coordinating communication with suppliers and other departments;

4.  Improve procurement workflows and standards, minimizing the number of handling stages to reduce the unit holding time of inventory and avoid unnecessary costs, thereby achieving the desired inventory turnover rate.

5.  Develop, select, and manage relationships with local suppliers, including price negotiations, procurement conditions, product quality, supply chain management, and database systems;

6 . Conduct audits of existing suppliers’ pricing, production capacity, product quality, and delivery lead times to assess their ability to maintain stable supply.

7 . Promptly monitor and track changes in market prices and product quality, with the aim of enhancing product quality and reducing procurement costs.

8.  Develop departmental work plans, oversee departmental operations, and lead departmental development as well as the management and training of departmental staff.

9.  Conduct performance evaluations and rankings of purchasing personnel to ensure that the procured products meet customer requirements.

 

10. Complete other ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors.
