The 2019 Shenzhen International Smart Parking Equipment and Technology Expo grandly opened at Hall 2 of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. This year’s exhibition will last for three days. ， The event is jointly hosted by the People’s Government of Futian District, Shenzhen; the Traffic Police Bureau of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau; the Shenzhen Parking Technology Enterprises Industry Association; the Shenzhen Smart Security Industry Association; the Shenzhen Urban Transportation Planning and Design Research Center; and Shenzhen Jieshun Technology Industrial Co., Ltd., with guidance from the People’s Government of Futian District, Shenzhen, and support from the Traffic Police Bureau of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau.
This year’s parking exhibition is themed “ Smart parking makes cities more composed. Under the theme of “...,” the event brought together parking‑industry enterprises and numerous industry professionals from across the country, showcasing the robust growth of the smart parking sector driven by next‑generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, sensor networks, the Internet of Things, and 5G.
This year’s exhibition brought together nearly a hundred exhibitors from across the country, along with specially invited buyer delegations, attracting over 10,000 professional visitors. Leading players in the parking industry gathered to share insights and discuss cutting-edge technologies and emerging trends with domestic and international peers, experts, and attendees, making it a premier annual event for industry professionals.

◆ Seamless human–machine switching: Users can switch effortlessly between automated parking and self-service parking, allowing them to adjust the allocation of parking spaces in real time based on current conditions and flexibly configure parking spots.
This new type of drum‑type parking AGV robot, the GETA Model W, was deployed on a complex surface featuring uneven manhole covers, potholes, and other irregularities. It navigated along a “Y”‑shaped route, providing a clear demonstration to leaders and attending guests. Trackless, media-free access vehicle Its distinctive features, coupled with its 360° omnidirectional mobility that seamlessly transitions between forward motion, reverse, turning, spinning, and lateral movement, were showcased on-site, demonstrating how effortlessly it can handle even the most complex and challenging parking environments.
At this year’s Shenzhen International Smart Parking Equipment and Technology Expo, China UnionPay showcased a simulated smart‑mobility scenario at its exhibition booth. UnionPay’s “seamless payment” integrates license‑plate recognition with quick‑pay card technology. Upon first use, drivers link their bank card to their vehicle’s license plate via a mobile app; when entering or exiting designated seamless‑payment zones, the corresponding bank card is automatically charged.
