Working Principle and Components of Vertical Circulation Equipment

Vertical circulation equipment Operating principle: The motor drives the large and small sprockets via a reducer, which in turn drives the fork wheel to rotate the main shaft, ultimately driving the large sprocket. A vehicle pallet is periodically mounted on the large chain; this pallet is designed to enable the large chain to perform a continuous vertical motion relative to the ground. Using a frequency converter and a PLC programmable controller, vehicles are sequentially fed into the system in a stop–stop sequence.

① When storing a vehicle, the driver drives the car to the designated position on the storage rack and stops, then exits the facility. By swiping a card (or pressing a button), the electric motor is activated, causing the storage rack to move while another rack rotates into the entry position and comes to a stop. At this point, the next storage operation can be performed.

② Upon vehicle pickup, the driver initiates the process by swiping a card (or using the key). The system then moves along the pre‑set route to the storage tray, where the driver assumes the driving position on the tray and proceeds with operation.

Vertical circulation equipment It mainly consists of a steel‑structure main frame, car pallets, a drive system, a transmission system, a variable‑frequency PLC automatic control system (including an automatic fault‑diagnosis system), and auxiliary systems (including lighting, intermittent power supply, and an intelligent parking‑fee collection system). Among these components:

(1) The main frame of the vertical circulation equipment primarily comprises front, rear, left, and right columns, as well as front–rear composite frames, among others.

(2) The car pallet mainly comprises: the car pallet, main beam, and moving arm, among others;

(3) The drive system of vertical circulation equipment mainly comprises: electric motor, reducer, drive spindle, sprockets, and chains, among others.

(4) Vertical circulation equipment The transmission system mainly comprises: (drive) sprockets, drive chains, and other components;

(5) Variable-frequency PLC automatic control system for vertical circulation equipment: primarily comprises a control cabinet, variable-frequency drive, PLC programmable controller, LCD operator (operator panel), and other components.

(6) Others: anti-swing slide rails, guide wheel assemblies, etc.;

(7) Vertical circulation equipment Supporting System:

The lighting system primarily comprises solar-powered road lighting, LED luminaires, time controllers, and lighting controllers, among others.

The intermittent power system primarily comprises a generator, a diesel engine for power generation, and batteries, among other components.

The intelligent parking management system primarily comprises: an integrated license plate recognition unit, an auto‑iris lens, auxiliary lighting equipment, license plate recognition software, an automatic barrier gate, a vehicle identification system, and a management computer, among other components.
