According to Huizhou Jiaotou Road & Bridge Investment Co., Ltd., construction of 10 smart, shared parking structures in the urban area is progressing smoothly. All are scheduled to be completed and put into service within the year, providing a total of 5,429 public parking spaces and helping to alleviate the city’s parking shortage. This year, the city also plans to break ground on 20 additional parking facilities, with 14 already in the site-selection phase.
The parking garage of the Citizen Service Center is located near the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. It comprises two underground levels and one above-ground level. Currently, construction has reached the first above-ground floor, and the main structure is scheduled for completion in October.

Yang Tianpei, Deputy General Manager of the Branch Company of Huizhou Jiaotou Road & Bridge Investment Co., Ltd.:
This parking structure can accommodate 1,500 vehicles, with two underground levels and one elevated level, which should adequately meet the needs of the nearby Second Administrative Service Center and surrounding areas. With a turnover rate of two to three times per day, the effective capacity would exceed 3,000 vehicles.

The Yanda Interchange South Parking Garage, located near Yanda Heng’er Road in the Henan’an Subdistrict of the city center, can accommodate 400 parking spaces. Installation of vertical‑moving parking equipment has already begun; track systems for all five bays have been completed, and overall equipment installation is 40% finished. The project is expected to become the fastest‑to‑open among the ten parking facilities slated for construction this year.
Yang Tianpei:
Among the ten projects, our Yanda South was the first to break ground and is expected to be operational by October. The remaining nine will have their main construction completed in November and December, respectively, and will be brought online one after another.

These ten parking lots are located in the Henan Bank, Binjiang, Maidi, and Jiangbei districts of the city, covering areas where parking shortages are most acute and providing a total of 5,429 public parking spaces.
Yang Tianpei:
In total, there are 5,429 parking spaces; once completed, they will largely alleviate the parking shortage in the surrounding area. For example, the Binjiang Park parking garage offers 500 spaces. Our field surveys show that along Dishi Road and Dishixia Road, there are currently just over 480 on‑street temporary parking spots. By constructing a multi‑level parking structure with 500 spaces, we have essentially resolved the local parking challenges.
To further address the parking challenges in the Qiaodong, Xihu, Shangpai, and Jiangbei areas, the city plans to commence construction on 20 new parking facilities this year. To date, 14 of these projects have been approved by the Municipal Planning Commission.
Yang Tianpei:
Our plan is to commence construction on an additional 20 projects this year. As for the preliminary work, the Natural Resources Bureau has already approved 14 of them under our conditions‑notification letter; currently, all are undergoing preparatory activities and site‑selection procedures.
