Recently, the smart multi‑storey parking‑lot charging station jointly built by Teld and the Dandong Power Supply Company of State Grid Liaoning Electric Power has successfully passed inspection and been put into operation.

This project is China’s first smart multi-story parking garage charging station , filling a gap in the domestic market and offering a completely new approach to the development of charging infrastructure.

The project integrates automated parking systems with electric‑vehicle charging solutions, enabling unified control of parking and charging for electric vehicles. This approach effectively addresses the challenges of limited parking and inadequate charging infrastructure in urban core areas, pioneering a new model that seamlessly combines automated parking and charging technologies with smart urban transportation systems.

In response to the characteristic of long charging cables in high‑rise automated parking garages, which can easily pose safety risks, Teld has developed a 7 kW AC group‑charging solution tailored for such facilities.

The garage is equipped with multiple protective functions, including over‑pressure, over‑current, leakage‑current, and short‑circuit protection, enabling integrated control of both charging and parking management. Innovative features such as uninterrupted charging and automatic cable retraction help eliminate safety risks associated with cable drag during the vehicle’s movement in multi‑level parking structures.

In the future, as new technologies such as artificial intelligence and automated charging continue to evolve, Teld’s smart multi‑level parking‑lot charging stations will offer users services including parking‑spot search, parking navigation, charging reservations, automatic charging, and mobile payments, making travel smarter and more convenient.

This rooftop features a multi‑level parking garage, with robots handling your car—pick‑up or drop‑off takes just three minutes.

Within three years, Dongguan will add no fewer than 180,000 parking spaces.
