The parking reservation system for the Second China International Import Expo has gone live.

On October 23, the second China International Import Expo’s parking reservation system officially went live. Visitors arriving by car can use the system to reserve a parking space and then take a free shuttle bus to the exhibition venue.

Currently, the reservation system is available on Alipay’s Life Services platform and the “Shanghai Transportation” WeChat official account. On the “Shanghai Transportation” WeChat account, users can tap “Transportation at Your Fingertips” to access the “CIIE Parking Reservation” system; clicking further will take them directly to the page, where they can follow the on-screen instructions to complete their parking reservation.

After the appointment is successfully booked, the system will display a prompt. “Go to Pay” (currently supports Alipay only). After successful payment, you can obtain your parking permit at the time specified by the system—starting November 1—by following the on-screen instructions. The parking permit will first be sent to your email; please print it in color, double-sided, on A4 paper.

It is worth noting that you must book your parking time at least one day in advance. Before obtaining a parking permit, users may cancel their reservation; once the permit has been issued, cancellation is no longer permitted. If payment is not made within 15 minutes of booking, the system will automatically cancel the order.

According to the responsible official, the system allows users to reserve 7,000 car parking spaces and 1,100 bus parking spaces across 17 parking lots surrounding the “Clover” venue. For example, one parking lot at the intersection of Ninghong Road and Shenkun Road offers 2,019 spaces. After parking, visitors can take a free shuttle bus near each lot to reach the CIIE exhibition halls.

According to available information, the parking fee structure is as follows: RMB 40 per entry for buses and RMB 20 per entry for cars. Each time slot runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For any parking beyond these designated time periods, an additional charge will be applied at RMB 5 per hour for large vehicles and RMB 4 per hour for small vehicles.
