Jiangxi has begun renovating old residential communities, aiming to add 500 new parking spaces.

Jiangxi Province plans to complete the renovation of old residential communities by the end of this year. A total of 150 projects have been launched, benefiting 73,000 households, and all 686 projects eligible for central government subsidies have commenced construction. Localities are encouraged to proactively diversify funding sources and explore multi‑channel, sustainable financing mechanisms that involve reasonable cost‑sharing by residents, investment from organizations, market‑based operations, and fiscal incentives and subsidies. Water, electricity, gas, and telecommunications operators are being guided to upgrade and modernize infrastructure within residential communities and in facilities connected to them.

Encourage private capital to participate in the construction of parking facilities.

The “Guiding Opinions on Further Improving the Planning, Construction, and Management of Urban Parking Facilities” have been issued, providing guidance to localities in formulating public parking‑lot project plans, encouraging private‑sector participation, promoting the provision of parking spaces in excess of statutory requirements, supporting the expansion of public parking capacity, and making full use of civil defense facilities and other measures to accelerate the development of parking infrastructure.
