The main structure of Jiangxi’s largest intelligent multi‑level parking facility has been completed and is set to open soon.

The multi‑storey parking facility at the Jiangxi Refractory Materials Plant broke ground in December 2018. More than nine months have now passed, and on-site observations indicate that the main structural work has been completed and the project is poised to enter service.

As shown in the on-site photos, the project’s ancillary facilities building and the main structure of the multi‑storey parking garage to the north have both been completed, and exterior finishing work has commenced on the ancillary facilities building.

The multi‑storey parking structure has completed its steel‑structure superstructure and is now moving into exterior wall construction. Once all structural components have been erected, the project will proceed to the commissioning phase.

Jiangnai Parking Lot Location

According to reports, the parking facility is situated between the Provincial Building Materials Wholesale Market and the under-construction Wangfujing Commercial Center. Standing 50 meters tall with 25 floors, it comprises 16 separate tower bays, each offering 50 parking spaces, allowing 16 vehicles to enter simultaneously through 16 distinct access points. The entire parking tower is expected to serve three to four nearby commercial districts and meet the parking needs of surrounding residential areas.

The project has a total investment of approximately RMB 80 million, with a floor area ratio of 2.17 and a building density of 27.18%. The total land area is 6,797.27 square meters, and the total floor area amounts to 15,228.67 square meters, encompassing a mechanical parking structure, ancillary facilities, public restrooms, and a basement. Specifically, the mechanical parking tower covers 11,750.26 square meters, the ancillary facilities building spans 2,932.26 square meters, the Jiangnai basement occupies 464.67 square meters, and the Xingyuehui basement parking garage totals 3,958.49 square meters. This portion is excluded from commercial‑related calculations, while the parking spaces are counted toward the Xingyuehui project.

The parking facility offers a total of 800 spaces, including 774 newly constructed spaces, 26 relocated spaces, and 80 electric-vehicle charging spots. Scheduled for completion and commissioning in the second half of this year, it will become the province’s largest above-ground, intelligent, multi‑level parking tower.
