At the summit, the Yuzhong District Government, Alibaba Cloud, and Chongqing Telecom announced that they will transform Jiefangbei into the first… 5G demonstration pedestrian street. Built on the City Brain platform and leveraging cutting-edge 5G technology, it offers VR‑based immersive experiences, facial‑recognition payments, smart parking, and more. The smart pedestrian street will also integrate Tmall and Alipay mini‑programs to seamlessly connect online and offline resources, delivering personalized services and enhancing the shopping experience. Relying on Alibaba Cloud’s City Brain technology, Liangjiang New Area is developing an integrated digital platform to drive digital transformation across transportation, parking, healthcare, education, urban management, and other sectors. Following last year’s launch of China’s first Lemon Index in collaboration with Alibaba Cloud and Shumeng Factory, the People’s Government of Tongnan District will continue to vigorously advance Lemon Index 2.0. By harnessing big data to innovate modern agriculture and leveraging the core capabilities of Alibaba Cloud’s City Brain, the district will accelerate digital and intelligent upgrades in government services, transportation, healthcare, cultural tourism, manufacturing, and other fields. Furthermore, Alibaba Cloud has partnered with Chongqing Gas Group to build a smart pipeline network. Going forward, more than 5 million households across 25 districts and counties in Chongqing will enjoy safer, more efficient natural gas usage through AIoT‑enabled smart IoT solutions.
