The symposium on the group standard for environmental and spatial design of building‑type parking garages was held successfully!

On the afternoon of August 16, the “Seminar on the Group Standard for Environmental and Spatial Design Specifications of Building‑Type Parking Garages,” hosted by the Shenzhen Parking Technology Enterprises Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”), was successfully held in the Association’s Secretariat Conference Room.

Standardization is a crucial component of high-quality development and an indispensable part of the process. At this seminar, representatives from numerous organizations—including the Transportation Center, Jinjiuding, Sika, China Overseas Property, Kerry Properties, and Lushi Metals—participated in the event.

Standards determine quality: the quality of a product is shaped by the standards it adheres to, and only high standards can deliver high quality. The primary role of standardization is to serve as an essential tool and prerequisite for organizing modern production; it lays the groundwork for rationally expanding product lines and fostering specialized manufacturing; it forms the foundation for companies to achieve scientific and modern management; and it ensures improved product quality and market regulation.

The experts agreed that conducting research on a group standard for environmental and spatial design specifications for building‑type parking garages is of significant theoretical and practical importance, and they engaged in a thorough discussion of the standard’s framework and subsequent work. Meanwhile, representatives from various enterprises, drawing on their extensive industry experience, offered numerous professional, guidance‑oriented comments and recommendations from the perspective of their respective sectors.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Association’s Secretariat expressed its gratitude to the experts in attendance and stated that, going forward, the Association will take a more proactive stance, continuously pursue innovation, integrate industrial and societal resources, establish an advanced standardization framework for the parking industry, and drive the sector toward leapfrog development.
