The Corporate Legal Department is an internal functional unit of the company, staffed by lawyers or legal experts with specialized legal expertise. It bears the critical responsibility of ensuring the company’s lawful operations, safeguarding its legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law, and addressing the various legal issues that arise during the company’s production and business activities.

As a functional department of the company, the Legal Department possesses the following characteristics: :

First, in terms of its personnel, the company’s legal department comprises lawyers or legal experts who possess specialized legal knowledge and substantial litigation experience. They are responsible for providing timely, professional, and comprehensive legal advice and recommendations to the company’s other functional and business units, ensuring that the company conducts its operations in compliance with applicable laws and enabling the prompt resolution of various disputes and litigation matters.

Second, from the perspective of working methods, the Legal Department does not directly handle the company’s business; rather, it reviews the work of the relevant business units and provides guidance and recommendations. The final implementation of specific matters remains the responsibility of the business units themselves, which sets a clear distinction between the Legal Department’s approach and that of the company’s operational departments.

Third, from the perspective of its scope of work, the corporate legal department’s mission is to assist the company’s management in making lawful decisions, guide the company toward sound and sustainable development, streamline internal rules and regulations, assess and manage potential legal risks in the company’s operations, and provide safeguards for the company’s normal business activities and robust growth.
